I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Weekend...
Today I took my photography (framed prints, matted prints, ACEO prints, and Coaster Sets) to the nature center gift shop at a local wildlife park we visit often. I am Artist of the Month for April. We set it up and then we had some time to explore around the park!
Take a look at just some of the gorgeous views we got to enjoy!
These are the trails we were walking on!
Some of the birds and animals we saw... most of the birds were really far away, but was still nice to see them.
Starling
Hawk (not sure what kind yet)
Seagull
4 Great Blue Herons
For those of you who don't know, the great blue heron is on of my favorite birds, and I've only seen 1 at a time and only 3 times. So seeing 4 together was pretty cool lol
2 Bunnies
They are so little, such sweet animals. They were together and hiding blow the trees!
Female Downy Woodpecker
Canada Geese
A lot of them were out today in the river.
Magpie
We see these everywhere lol
And does this dead tree look like a woman dancing to anyone else lol, her left arm above her head, and her right arm in front of her! Maybe I'm just a little crazy lol
Wow Pam, artist of the month is great! what a thrill that would be!
ReplyDeletegreat captures, especially those sweet little bunbuns :-D
Beautiful scenery and great pictures you took of it. Love the little bunny's. We have lots of Blue Heron's here, they are cool looking birds but they pray on the fish in people's ponds so are not really well liked around here. I like seeing them though.
ReplyDeleteYay! Artist of the month - how wonderful! Great shots - I love the herons and winding paths. Great shots Pam!
ReplyDeleteWow, Pam... amazing pictures, as always! I definitely wouldn't have been able to stay away from that beaver dam, would have wanted to explore it. My luck, I would've gotten my leg stuck in water, or something... lol. Glad you had fun!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! What fun =) Love the phots!
ReplyDeleteStunning, stunning, stunning, photos Pam!!! LOVE THEM!!! In our old house, we lived in a forest, which had a running pond through it. We had Blue Herons! From what we were told, they only mate every other year or every 4 years, I forget, sorry. But, we would see one all the time, and then when mating season came, there would be two ;o)
ReplyDeleteCongrats again with having your items in the shop!!!
Thank you Stacy,
ReplyDeleteThat must have been amazing to watch the herons! I would love that!
