Christmas Eve Lights...

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas or Holiday. I sure did. On Christmas eve a friend and I drove around the city looking at the beautiful Christmas lights in 3 or 4 areas. Because I have not mastered the right way to take beautiful Christmas Light pictures, I mostly like to play around with bokeh and making beautiful blurry pictures.

Because it was so cold... -21 Celsius / -5 Fahrenheit, we did a lot of running back to the car and sitting to warm up lol We were freezing, bundled up really good, but still frozen. It was even colder today -26 Celsius / -14 Fahrenheit, and lets just say we stayed indoors all day where it was cozy and warm lol.

I had to take a picture of this snow covered tree trunk. Someone had drawn a face on it and it looked just like a snowman lol I love it!

These are my favorite Bokeh style images. A few of them I used my bokeh filters I made, which I am slowly figuring out how to use them! Snowflakes, stars and a freestyle heart filters. The 2nd from the last is my moms favorite... she titled it "Jukebox"

For those of you who don't know what bokeh is, wikipedia describes it as - the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image, or "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light." For more info visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh

Stacy, no I don't have a travel mug as I don't go in a lot of cars, usually cabs & buses... I am looking for a travel mug though for next time!
