February 15th, 2013: Multiple Places...

Today a friend and I spent 5 1/2 hours out with our cameras, the first few hours we drove outside of town looking for snowy owls, eagles, anything and saw nothing like that LOL. We did see some Canada Geese!

Then we decided to try a local park that usually has birds at least. At the top of the park we visited the pair of Bald Eagles!

Then we saw some smaller birds. A ton of the smaller birds were bathing.

common redpolls

I also took 3 short videos of the birds bathing and merged them into 1 short clip. Hope you enjoy watching them bathe!

Bohemian Waxwings

American Robins... saw 3 or 4.

Common Rosefinches - Female (above), Male (below).

Black-capped Chickadees

And 1 lil bunny near a bunny hole we found!

  1. So many wonderful shots! The little video of the birds bathing was fun to watch :D Thanks for sharing your outing, Pam.

  2. Well, you didn't see what you wanted to see, but you saw a lot of great stuff! Love your bird shots and I love the video! They are all so cute! Cleaning themselves and talking away ;o) Wondering who you are? LOL!
