Getting ready for a craft / art sale in November...

I haven't had much to blog about in a while, as I have been hibernating for the summer. I am allergic to wasps and bees and so it's quite a risk to be running around for the summer months.

I signed up to do a 2 day art sale in our city, for the 2nd year in a row. It is November 15th and 16th. And so I am working on getting ready for it. Also I have a Facebook fan page if anyone wants to follow me there... Photography by Pam Hardy.

I am hoping to have 2 or 3 calendar designs for sale this year. In both 4x6 jewel case and wall calendar formats. This is my Zoo themed calendar, all pictures were taken at the Calgary Zoo over the past few years. This is a preview of the cover page for the jewel case calendars. I still need to add text to it.

Then I am also working on buying frames, and will be ordering my prints and framing them soon. I still need to decide what photos to frame.

Here is a picture of my both last year! Wildlife was the most popular and so I hardly have any left and that is what I will be framing.

  2. So excited for you Pam!!! You are going to do excellent again! I know you are ;o) Are you going to do any cards, like how you did for the girl at work? I think they would do excellent! Make sure to do some of your fence posts and cool shots like that ;o)

  3. What is that critter third from the left in the bottom row of the calendar preview? Calendar looks interesting. Good luck at the sale and I think you should try offering some cards too.

  4. Hi Ladies,

    Thank you very much!

Stacy - those cards at word didn't work out, I couldn't find anywhere that let us design our own card, and the ones that did were not quite what she was looking for.

I will keep cards in mind and keep looking as I would like to offer them!

Sandra - that is a Giant Anteater, the Calgary zoo had him in with macaws lol... not something I would have thought went together, so they must be gentle creatures.
